As per our Bylaws, any registered green seeking to run for statewide or national office must be endorsed by the GPDE . The process, as outlined in our Bylaws, starts with candidates presenting themselves to the Coordinating Committee for a vote of recommendation to the Annual Meeting.

Since our Annual Meeting is scheduled for April 5, 2014, that means any potential candidates would need come to the next Coordinating Committee meeting on March 13, 2014 at 7pm to express their interest in running. The meeting will be held at the Community Service Building, 100 W 10th St #201, Wilmington, Delaware 19801.

There will be time allowed in the agenda at that meeting for potential candidates to make a brief (5 minutes or less) statement of their potential candidacy before the Coordinating Committee, after which there will be a discussion by the Coordinating Committee and a vote on whether to recommend the potential candidates to the membership at the Annual Meeting.

If you have any questions, please get in touch.
Jen Wallace

Chair, Green Party of Delaware
