The annual meeting required in our bylaws was held on April 8, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in

Newark. Twenty registered Greens were present.

Treasurer’s Report: We have a positive bank balance. The party is doing better financially than last year.

National Delegates: Dave McCorquadale was elected to another two year term as delegate to GPUS.

Denise Brush will be serving the second year of her term as the other delegate between now and spring

2015. Ruth Ann Purchase and Andrew Groff were elected to two-year terms as alternate delegates.

Coordinating Council: Kris Lynn, Alex Gotera, and Stephanie Herron were elected new Coordinating

Council members, joining Jen Wallace (Chair), Steve Messick (Treasurer), Denise Brush (Secretary),

Mark Perri (Webmaster) and Dave McCorquadale.The CC had voted in a previous meeting to expand

the size of the council from five to eight.

Candidates for 2014 Elections: Three candidates for state-wide election in November 2014 gave

presentations: Bernie August (House), Andrew Groff (Senate), and Dave Chandler (State Treasurer).

After a question and answer period, we voted on endorsing each candidate. All three candidates were

General discussion: Topics discussed included creating a working group to discuss electoral strategy;

ending negative attacks on the governor; providing help to Dover area Greens in setting up a Local; and

applying to participate in the DelDOT Adopt-a-Highway program.
